Lohri celebration-2021

Lohri is a festival of harvest and is associated with the worship of the Sun and fire. It is a cultural celebration of the winter solstice .It marks the end of winter and is a traditional welcome of longer days and the sun's journey to the Northern hemisphere. 
At Sarvottam International School, Lohri was celebrated on January 13 with great enthusiasm. A special assembly was conducted by class 4. The assembly began by seeking the blessings of the Almighty. This was followed by thoughts in English and Hindi,  Lohri song and dance. 
The students participated with great enthusiasm and energy.
