Special Assembly by Grade 1
“Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will.”
The special assembly presented by Grade-I on 1st October, 2019 was a sincere effort by the students to give a deep insight into the life and times of Mahatma Gandhi and encouraged them to think about his vision of ‘Swach Bharat’.
The assembly began with a special tribute to our ‘Father of the Nation’, and an eloquent thought given by Manya Gupta (1H) and Sabhi Shukla (1F) that emphasized the importance of the concept of non-violence. The speech presented by Ravit (1A) and Shivaansh( 1G) showcased the role of Bapu in India’s struggle for freedom along with the growing awareness of the people, specially in the children about the cleanliness drive launched by the Indian Government, famously known as ‘Swach Bharat Abhiyan’. Poem recitation by Hisaab, Abaan, Shivansh, Ram Sisodiya, Aryan of classes1C & 1E filled the ambiance with gratitude towards Mahatma Gandhi ji.
The assembly was finally concluded with the performance on a beautiful song “De di hamain azadi bina khadag bina dhal” and dance performance on 'Aaja re aaja Bapu re' which filled the ambience with a feeling of patriotism for our country.
