Special Assembly on Embracing Disability-2020

The  “International Day of Persons with Disabilities”, is celebrated on December 3 every year. The day aims to promote awareness of disability issues and the fundamental rights of persons with disabilities.

Little Sarvottamites celebrated the uniqueness and understood about disability and how people deal with them. Students also celebrated the day by playing blind fold games. They also had discussions through PPT with teachers. Students also understood that everyone is unique in one's own way.
 A special assembly was also conducted by the students of Grade 5 to commemorate the same.The theme of the assembly was “EMBRACING DISABILITY”. The students shared their views and emphasized the importance of mainstreaming inclusivity. We must respect their rights to lead a life with dignity and self-esteem. The Assembly was adorned with different programmes by  students of different sections.
