World Day of Social Justice is observed on Feb 20 annually to raise voice against social injustice and to bring various communities together across the globe, to eliminate poverty, gender, physical discrimination, illiteracy, religious discrimination aiming to make a socially integrated society.
To commemorate the day a special assembly was organized by grade VIII. Different video clippings related to the theme were shown to kids. It also comprised of news, thought, speech and PPT, signifying the importance of justice. Gender equality and poverty elimination were the two key factors discussed in the assembly.
