Special Assembly- Sarojini Naidu

“We want deeper sincerity of motive, a greater courage in speech, and earnestness in action.” -Sarojini Naidu Celebrating the occasion of National Women’s Day in the commemoration of the 141st birth anniversary of ‘The Nightingale of India’ Sarojini Naidu and International Book Giving Day, the young Sarvottamities of Primary classes 3-5, attended a special assembly on 14th February 2022, which was laden with the autobiography, teachings and accomplishments of the great soul, Sarojini Naidu, who was an Indian political activist and a poet. The day also threw light on the goal of International Book Giving Day, to get books into the hands of as many children as possible and to increase children's access to and enthusiasm for books.
