‘Trees are the poems that Earth writes upon the sky’. This has been rightly said as trees and forests play a very crucial role in maintaining an ecological balance and providing oxygen to human beings on the planet. But their depleting number has become a serious issue. To make the students aware of this issue and taking initiative towards it, a special assembly on ‘Van Mahotsav- The Festival of Trees’ was conducted by Ursa House students of grade 3-5 .A plethora of events flooded the virtual stage, with the motto to spread the message of Importance of Tree Plantation. The students took the pledge to save environment, conserve water and also plant trees .
