Veer Gatha

A country sleeps peacefully as the soldier performs its duties. Soldiers do not step back in the face of adversaries instead they give their best to protect their motherland. They are never off duty; whether he is sleeping or on the battlefield, he stays vigilant throughout. To salute the bravery and duties of the “Veers”, Sarvottam International School Invited Lieutenant Colonel Rajdeep Tyagi to share his insights and life experiences on 9th January 2022 under the “Veer Gatha” initiative. Lieutenant colonel Rajdeep Tyagi is a decorated officer who has served various terrains along IB, LC, LOC and counter insurgency operations. He has been awarded with GOC (General officer commanding) in C commendation card for his exemplary work and being a motivation to others. The “Veer Gatha” session was conducted and facilitated by students of grade XI - Ananta, Savi, Rion and Kashvi. The audience also interacted with Lt Col Tyagi and gained perspective on various aspects of military life.
